Checkups (Dental Diagnosis Technologies)
To aid our dental specialists in dental diagnosis and providing good quality dental care, modern equipments and techniques are utilized. We have our own 3D digital CT Scan and panoramic x-ray machines that are used to facilitate systemic diagnoses and treatment plans.

Professional Cleaning
A professional cleaning is the only way to remove plaque that has built up and hardened into tartar. By scheduling regular checkups — twice a year — early stage gum disease can be treated before it leads to a much more serious condition.

Periodontal Disease
If gum disease is more advanced, scaling and root planning can be performed to treat diseased periodontal pockets and gum infection. We use an ultrasonic scaling device to remove plaque, tartar and food debris above and below the gum line, and hand scales the tooth and root surfaces to make them smooth and disease free. If periodontal pockets are more than 5 millimeters deep, that is, if you have moderate to severe periodontitis, gingival flap surgery may be performed to reduce periodontal pockets, as well as bone grafting to restore lost bone.

Cavities Fillings and Fillings Replacement
If part of a tooth has been lost through decay or damaged due to an accident, your dentist may put in a dental filling. Dental fillings are used to fill a portion of tooth or plug the hole and stop any future pain or discomfort. We use the 3M ESPE for composite resin fillings. The 3M ESPE utilises developments in nanotechnology enabling high-quality restorations as well as excellent mechanical properties and strength. Today, amalgam filings are commonly replaced with tooth-colored fillings. Safe removal of amalgam fillings following certain guidelines is done at S-PLANT.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth (the pulp) and cleaning and disinfecting it, then filling and sealing it. The common causes affecting the pulp are a cracked tooth, a deep cavity, repeated dental treatment to the tooth or trauma to it. The term "root canal" comes from cleaning of the canals inside the tooth's root.
S-PLANT root canal treatment is performed by our endodontist using fine optical microscope, which is one of the most revolutionary developments in the field of endodontics. It provides extreme magnification. This makes it possible to identify and treat even minute structures and problem areas.

Mouthguards
If you suffer from bruxism, we can help to alleviate the symptoms with a custom mouthguard. A mouthguard is a device that is worn over your top teeth, much like a sportguard. This particular type of oral device is designed to absorb the impact that the muscles in your jaw exert when you grind or clench and provide cushioning for your teeth. We create your mouthguard for you from a digital impression of your mouth. With digital impressions, we can create a perfectly fitting mouthguard that also takes your bite into consideration. As a result, you are provided with a comfortable fit that will provide you with the best results.
With a custom fit mouthguard, we can help to alleviate the symptoms of bruxism, eliminating your pain and greatly improving your quality of life.
